The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) has revealed a new innovation in physiotherapy. Taizou is a very happy and lovable robot that is designed to assist the elderly and disabled participate in different exercises to benefit their physical condition.

Taizou simply repeats the exercises as a concrete example so others can follow along while learning to do the exercises properly. The actual release is set for some time in 2010 and you can bet this cheery little guy will be helping the less fortunate across the world.
