For all backpackers and travelers out there, the Taiwan Rainbow Village is the ultimate place to inject happiness to your trip while learning about history and art.
The city of Taichung in Taiwan is no longer what it used to be thanks to a man with a big heart and a passion for art. Haung Yung-Fu, an 86-year-old man, is responsible for transforming a military dependents' village into a paradise of color and peace. What's even more incredible is that the mayor has decided, due to the villagers' high demands, to preserve this public museum. Haung Yung-Fu's work certainly deserves total admiration and respect because it does not only showcase Taichung's art, but it also represents the history of a community.
As an avid traveler, I can't wait to visit the Taiwan Rainbow Village as it's truly incredible.
