Madonna Inn Shares Name, Age + Gaudy Style With the Material Girl

After viewing photos of the rooms, I must conclude that the Madonna Inn’s decorators are enthusiastic supporters of Breast Cancer awareness who frequently purchase pink in order to support the cause.

They like pink at this hotel, and they like rocks. They like them both a lot. Where one is lacking, the other is found in abundance.

The rockwork is done from locally-quarried materials. There are elaborate water features doubling as sinks in several of the rooms. The men’s ‘urinals’ that serve the common area are drains on the floor of what appears to be a small cave. A waterfall feature works as a flush.

Located on the Pacific Coast in San Luis Obispo, the Madonna Inn features 110 uniquely decorated rooms, a pool, exercise facilities, spa, and convention center.
