Aer Lingus opted for a St. Patrick’s Day theme for a clever angle to generate PR for their cheap new airline fares.
The “999 Nudes” event was organized by Aer Lingus on Facebook and Twitter and was used to promote £9.99 fares to a series of destinations to rival their competitors.
Aer Lingus claimed 2,000 people registered for the event, and 999 were awarded with two free return flights to one of the airline’s eight new routes from Gatwick, including Vienna and Munich.
