SXSW Startup village is a place where young ideas can come to maturation. Faced with droves of people and raucous crowds these ideas get a semi trial-by-fire initiation. Many small and up and coming businesses attended and brought the crowd with them.
SXSW is highly dense and populated with people for a variety of reasons. While the music is the big reason why most people show up it isn’t the only reason. Businesses of all sizes also show up, but it’s the startups that have garnered the majority of attention.
SXSW Startup Village takes place in the Hilton Austin and hosts a multitude of business and events. One such event is the pitch competition known as SXSW accelerator. If a startup is looking for recognition, going to the SXSW Startup Village is a good place to start.
