As far as suspended beds go, this one created by Neuman Hayner Architects has to be one of the most stylish ones around. Created for the bedroom of a teenager, it embraces both modern simplicity with a touch of the antiquated thanks to the use of thick brown rope and a wooden plank platform.

Found in a home in Tel Aviv, Israel, this perfect example of suspended beds looks quite experimental although it must be very sturdy just looking at all the hardware used. In line with the water beds of yore, suspended beds have a bit of a womb-like appeal. After all, it appears as though such a design would be able to sway, even if only slightly, providing a very soothing motion.
