A custom sushi box in a beautiful, hand-illustrated take-out container is a decadent way to present one's lunch and makes the already delicious food that much more appetizing.

Singapore-based agency 'Kinetic' has created its own distinct packaging for 'Maki-San,' a customizable sushi store in Singapore. While it's the first of its kind, Maki-San allows the customer to choose exactly what goes into each sushi roll.

The maki is then shown off in the customer's choice of box with drawn-on illustrations that feature ingredients in bright, tile patterns. The design is similar to that of macaron packaging in the way it makes each roll look delicate and fresh. Aesthetic food arrangements are presented by designer Esther Goh and are woven throughout all of Maki-San's branding and decor.
