This 360-degree surfing video offers an experience that most people will never have outside of virtual reality: surfing the inside of a barrel wave in Tahiti.

The surfing video was filmed in Teahupoo, Tahiti, which has some of the best, but also the most dangerous surfing in the world. Thanks to razor-like coral reefs and humongous waves, only the world's best surfers get the chance to experience it. But with 360-degree video technology, anyone can tag along with professional surfer C.J. Hobgood as he takes on a massive barrel wave in Teahupoo.

Viewers can drag the YouTube surfing video around to observe the beautiful, lush landscape of Tahiti, the clear, blue water and feel the adrenaline rush of surfing one of the world's most extreme waves.
