Superhero Comic Book Games - DC Universe Online (VIDEO)

The Dark Knight fans have a chance to interact with Batman in DC Universe Online, a new online multiplayer comic book game.
It was launched at Comic-Con by Sony and DC Comics this week, making it the first game of its kind. Gamers will be able to play the game online either through their PCs or PS3s.
Players not only get to create their own heroes, but they also get to interact with 150 DC Universe superheros, like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and The Flash, but their favourite villains play key roles too, including The Joker, Bizzaro and Lex Luthor!
The Comic-Con convention in San Diego is packed this week, and no wonder. After all the excitement about Superheros in movies (The Dark Knight, Hancock, Iron Man) and even in fashion (Superheroes Fashion and Fantasy exhibit at the Met in New York), it’s only logical that the superhero phenomenon is carried over into the gaming world.
SOE Austin, a unit of Sony Corp., is developing the game in tandem with Lee and a collection of DC Comic writers, which will allow for unique crossover opportunities between mediums.
