Super Bowl is one of the biggest events of the year, even for non-football fans because the ads between game time are among the most anticipated of the year.

The Super Bowl is the golden nugget for advertisers, and even in a recession, proved to be worth the coin for top-notch brands. In fact, Denny’s took advantage of the economic crises to pitch free a breakfast promotion.

I can hear the stampeding feet already of people dashing to line up for their free “Grand Slam” breakfast between 6 AM and 2 PM on Tuesday, February 3.

The ad itself is horrible, but Yahoo Buzz says the ad has sparked a ton of queries already into the nearest Denny’s location.
