If I didn't know better, I would have said that only someone with a Batman complex would have commissioned the Subterranean Mansion design. Yet with underground abodes popping up all over the globe of late, there's more to it than simply living the dream.
Exorbitantly priced at 3 million dollars, the Subterranean Mansion brings a big bang for that big buck. Touted as the most "daring and innovative house ever built" by Country Life, the Subterranean Mansion seems to offer a mini-community beneath the ground instead of just a home. The crowning detail? The fact that a water slide connects the master bedroom to the pool. Awesome.
