Celebs love to attach their brand to fine wines and liquor. But celebrity beer is new. Fans of Kid Rock will be able to partake of the hops brewed in Michigan as the result of a $723,000 tax break given to the brewery. Drinks America announced Kid Rock’s beer earlier, but the free government cheese made it happen far faster.

Drinks America is the same company that handles The Donald’s vodka, Dr Dre’s cognac and Willie Nelson’s bourbon.

No details on the name of the beer have been released but it is said to be something that will evoke both rock and roll and the American spirit. (luxist)

I say it should be called "American Badass." Not because I necessarily like that song of his, but there's his blend of rock and roll and America. Plus, it's branding! Are you listening, Kid Rock? ;)
