Instead of building a house out of traditional wooden materials, Studio MK27 decided to go with something slightly more industrial and heavy: concrete boxed structures. The abode is made from three of these concrete boxes, all a different size and structured around a central core area.
The top box of the house is the most noticeable, as it hangs out, extending over the lawn area. Not only does this make for an interesting look, but it also provides some shelter down below for any days when individuals want to sit outside in the rain. The house also has a pool, which can be accessed easily from the living room and dining area, as it opens up directly onto the deck. That way, people can move seamlessly from the inside to the outside without much effort.
