Student Ad Contests - Commercial Pitch Offers $15,000 Prize

We’ve seen dozens of ad contests, but this particular contest is exclusively for students. The concept of this College Challenge is that students could win $15,000 for pitching the most out of the box commercial idea.
The company, CommercialPitch.com, is launching a new ad sharing platform. From a contest perspective, the nice thing is that the product is very flexible to the theme of the ad.
Their hope is to attract advertising and creative types, noting that entrants could, “Get discovered by an ad agency.”
The site also features a section called “Rate That Pitch”, where you can pick the top entries. The catch is that you must rate each spot and name three that you think rock.
So far, the contest has attracted entrants from more than 40 post secondary institutions.
Humorous, tongue 'n cheek, ironic, clever and looking at something completely differently is probably a good start. Looking back at the history of Classic Commercials, someone brilliantly conceived the concept that you couldn't just eat one potato chip (and they were right). As simple as this deduction now appears, nonetheless; a classic commercial idea was conceived.
