Daniel Feral takes on the difficult task of tracing the roots of graffiti and street art in the Street Art Origin Poster. The two very modern art forms can be traced back to the pop-art movement and the situationist movement.

Feral was able to turn his findings into a nice to look at poster so that people can visualize the evolution of art to where it is today. The poster itself is an homage to Richard H. Barr, the first director of the MOMA, who also used arrows and type to visualize the interdependence of different art forms.

Besides being interesting in so far as the material presented, the Street Art Origin Poster is a great one to put on the wall. Get your own copy from the Gamma Proforma website. Stats for Art History Tracing Infographics Trending: Older & Chilly
