Strange Burials - Inventor Buried in a Pringles Can (GALLERY)

Isn’t it everyone’s dream to invent something that completely changes the world we know? Dr. Fredric J. Baur changed the world of potato chips! Dr. Baur created the Pringles potato chip can, and was so proud of his invention that when he died last month at 89, he requested that his ashes be buried in a Pringles can. “His children honored his request. Part of his remains was buried in a Pringles can - along with a regular urn containing the rest - in his grave at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Springfield Township.”
His method of packaging Pringles in the famous can was patented in 1970, and the, “tube-shaped container designed to hold the salty, stackable, saddle-shaped chip - was his proudest accomplishment, his daughter said”.
