Some trends are probably better left unreported. But being this is a slow day, I’ve dug deep to bring you all this one. It’s a sad tale really, about two young recording artists who can’t seem to get a better gig than making a track for Secret deodorant. The company is all a-twitter over their brilliant “marketing coup” of offering this dynamic duo’s MP3 “Strong Women” as a free download on their website. I suppose the song isn’t all bad, since most of it is incomprehensible due to strong beats and weak vocals. I can only relay the parts I was able to decipher and it goes something like this: “Where them girls at who like to be in charge? Strong women, sweat, take it all, stock exchange, it’s what a girl needs, sippin’ lemonade, aaaahhhh!” Sounds obscene really when you take it out of context like that.
