Interrogation Photoshoots - Steven Klein Captures Christian Bale, Batman (VIDEO)

The super-talented Steven Klein has captured The Dark Knight himself, Christian Bale in an arresting photoshoot for the recent July 2008 issue of Details magazine.

The photographs showcase the intensity and melancholic nature of Bale with splashes of red color both in the decor and photoshopped on the images themselves. The accompanying video, which you can see above, shows Bale in an erratic stop/go style, as an officer looking onto the suspect from behind the glass.

Bale opens up in the interview about his own career choices and what he thinks of his co-star’s performance.

On the intensity of Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight, Bale said, “He was incredibly intense in his performance but incredibly mellow and laid-back. Certainly there was this great anarchistic streak to it—just getting dirtier than anybody’s envisioned the Joker before. This character has power because he has no limits—absolutely nothing to lose.”

About how he felt regarding wearing the Batsuit Bale shared, “I was standing on the back lot where they were creating the suit, and I had a few minutes to myself, staring up close in the mirror, just thinking, ‘This isn’t going to work. I’m claustrophobic, I can’t breathe, I’m getting a headache already, and this is all going to go very badly’.”
