Stephanie Mill lenses technically brilliant photographs of the youth of Toronto and the Onatrio lifestyle. Her analogue work is rendered with masterful technique. Her skill separates her from the hordes of hipster photographers out there. She creates a dynamic balance of color and form, allowing the subjects to become works of art rather than simply lensed objects. Her compositional style holds a ton of energy, and a simplicity that is reminiscent of a carefree youth.

Mill is currently studying at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her inspiration is driven by the tangibility of film. Holding photographs allows for a connection that isn't present with digital work. The mystery of not knowing what has been embedded on the film within the machine is exciting and satisfying.
