While fashion is heading in an edgier direction (thanks, Rihanna and Lady Gaga) some designers (er, Stella McCartney Fall 2009 Collection) are not only continuing to channel a more Victorian femininity, but are gathering a strong following along the way.

This fall, abound with festivals and premiers, the red carpet has converted to a catwalk for the Stella McCartney Fall 2009 Collection. Most recently, Rumer Willis, Rachel McAdams (yay, Canada!) and Stella herself have been proudly displaying their new lacey feathers.
