'Starbreeze Studios' recently announced plans to open an immersive VR arcade called the 'StarCade' in Los Angeles this coming spring or summer. Although VR has become increasingly accessible for consumers, the technology is still out of reach for many. This arcade will provide a social space where consumers can indulge in VR games anytime.

The StarCade is designed to bring the traditional arcades of the 1980s back by giving them a modern upgrade. Instead of clunky video game cabinets, users will be able to use the latest VR technology in a social setting. In addition to the social aspect, the arcade will also provide an outlet for people to experiment with the technology without the need to invest in the equipment in advance.

The VR arcade ultimately demonstrates growing efforts to make VR technology more accessible to ordinary consumers.
