The new Android operating system has its fair share of geeky fans, like the one who created these Star Wars Android Projectors. Oddly for an operating system, there's actually licensed Android merchandise, like the figurines that served as the basis for this custom.

Creator Hitoshi Mitani was ambitious enough to reach for two flavors of coolness. Firstly, the figures are painted to resemble one of the most famous robots of all time, Star Wars's R2-D2. To make them even cooler, each is a working projector, able to display images on the wall, powered by either USB or battery depending on the figure.

At the moment, these Star Wars Android Projectors are just a custom from the mind of a dedicated fan, unless someone from Google or Lucasfilm will takes notice and throw fans some crossover merchandise. Stats for Intergalactic Robot Projectors Trending: Older & Average
