Stackable chairs face a very big aesthetic obstacle. While the seating is exceptionally convenient — especially for compact living spaces, small venues and the like, it is often the case that the silhouettes are crude or outdated. Swedish design firm Form Us With Love, however, seeks to fill this niche in the market for stackable chairs by producing a range of minimal and chic seating options. The collection is conceived for Alki — a French furniture brand.
The studio produces a total of five distinct designs. Each one builds on an A-shaped framework but with slight variations that render each stackable chair unique. Form Us With Love used oak to construct the silhouette.
