St. John's Gives 50% Off Tuition for Laid-Off Grads

Alumni of St. John’s University in New York who have lost their jobs in the last six months have something to smile about: A 50% discount on grad school tuition at their alma mater.

The discount, which is effective for two years, allows displaced grads to return to school at half the cost. The $70 St. John’s grad school application fee is also waived. According to Crain’s New York, the standard tuition for St. John’s graduate programs ranges between $865 and $1,040 per credit.
