The environmentally friendly Springtime ice cream carts have been recently released on behalf of the Dutch design group. Large ice cream trucks are viewed as a staple of summer, and while they do maintain a sense of authenticity, the waste and toxic fumes that the machines emit are considerable.
These ice cream carts are different from the rest insofar as they are powered by solar panels. Beams of light are directed to a battery-operated system that cools pots of chocolate mint and neopolitan flavors.
This sustainable engineering concept makes perfect sense, especially given the prevalence of the confectionery buggies during the warmer months. Its adoption and support on behalf of green advocates will certainly follow.
