Satu Maaranen's spring fashion collection for 2015 captures an old-couture inspired look. The Helsinki-based designer presented her latest collection for Spring and Summer 2015 she dubs 'Geometry of Futurefolk.' True to her inspirations, Satu Maaranen lingered between ready-to-wear and couture with garments covered in hand-painted and expressionistic prints.

Shape and volume share the same weight under the spotlight, while all garments reference '60s space age and ornamental baroque. The glasses, for instance, feature beautifully curved lines reminiscent of late Baroque, while they also recall something out of a Woody Allen movie.

Not only are they a great add-on to a well-balanced collection, they're available in every color as well. The mix of abstract prints can be seen on voluminous dresses, pants and jackets.
