It's often the seemingly simplest objects that offer the most versatility. The Spot Light is no exception; it comprises of two primary components and the flexibility of its assembly allows it to be used in five different ways.
A U-shaped handle is attached to the round lamp head on two sides. The little yellow pegs allow the light source to pivot 360 degrees so that you can hold onto the illuminator in several different ways, easily shifting the direction of the spotlight to the required angle.
Depending on the way that the Spot Light is set down, it can become a table lamp, a desk lamp or a softer source of ambient luminescence. This clever piece by Gloria Ngiam, Guillaume Bloget and Nigel Geh can also be hung up or used as a handy flashlight.
