We are all used to seeing ad placements on our sports stars or cars but now even school uniforms are branded with adverts on their uniforms. In the KunMing Province, China, 525 students have been issued sharp new orange uniforms covered in advertisements. It would be wrong no matter who advertised but the fact they have a tobacco sponsor really is crossing the line. None of the others are particularly fab with with Shell, Vodaphone and Ferrari amongst the other companies to grab this opportunity. While parents were initially shocked there is nothing they can do about it - and it is reported the children and totally non plussed about the whole thing. To be fair when you wearing a uniform that makes you look like a Guantanamo Bay prisoner what exactly is on the uniforms should be the least of your worries. References: weirdasianewsFiled In: |
