SpaceHabs is a project that forges conceptual visualizations of space exploration, and has been involved in visualizing architectural solutions for the colonization of Mars. The project came about after Canadian artist Bryan Versteeg was approached by the Mars One Foundation to create artistic renderings of human structures suitable for the red planet.

The Mars One project, which aims to send a group of humans to Mars by 2025, has been working with SpaceHabs to visualize the architectural systems that would be required to create a livable and sustainable community on Mars.

SpaceHabs' renderings take into account the engineering and technological elements that would likely be present in a future Martian colony, as well as the unique physical and environmental challenges posed by the Martian environment.
