Viral Sony Bravia Commercials

'Domino City'

Sony is famous for its elaborate Sony Bravia commercials, and the new Domino City is no exception.

Shot in India, the new Sony Bravia commercial follows colorful falling domino pieces as they make their way through the beautiful Indian city landscapes all the way to the Taj Mahal in Agra.

The brilliant New Zealand commercial was directed by Nic Finlayson for ad agency Bates141 Singapore.

"In this commercial we introduce the large dominoes into the setting with an intriguing chemistry of hyper-real dominoes set against the exotic naturalism of the location," explains executive creative director Sonal Dabral.

"The vibrancy and accuracy of the new BRAVIA is perfectly illustrated by the colorful dominoes. These dominoes are the full gambit – the full spectrum of colour, seen in among the hennas and browns and ivories of this earthy place. The environment offered a great canvas for us to reinforce the spectrum of color for BRAVIA, set against the primarily sepia, monochromatic locations," Dabral continues.

100 domino pieces, each eight feet tall, were used in the making of this commercial. Watch the 'behind the scenes' process below:
