The solar bikini is made from photovoltaic film panels so you can charge your mp3 player or cool your beverage while you sport a tan. I’m sure they’ve figured out how to make it safe, but try not to electrocute yourself when you swim. ;)
A solar powered bathing suit for men is also on its way.
This bikini is great when you are not wearing your solar powered dress or sporting your solar powered purse.
The suit is worn like a regualar bathing suit. Wear it to the beach, find a nice spot in the sun, get out your iPod and plug in to the retractable female USB connection sprouting discreetly from the hip. As soon as your iPod is all charged up, cool that frosty beverage that's been warming in your bag by plugging in the beverage cooler (peltier junction) to the same USB connection. It couldn't be simpler.
As far as displaying the iDrink specifically at the show, the setup includes a mannequin donning the suit complete with charging iPod, and peltier junction half buried in a small (8" x 8") box of sand. Special bulbs provide the necessary solar equivalent to the suns rays.
