Students from the Mind Drive program in Kansas have been working on an exciting project fueled by social media posts. This project is essentially centered around the development of an electric car powered by social media posts on sites like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This means that if these sites aren't buzzing, the car won't start.

This intriguing social media powered car will be driven from Kansas city to Washington DC for an event called the Social Fuel Tour. The focus of this event is to create more educational awareness in America, which is definitely a worthwhile cause.

This project really demonstrates the impact of social media on society, while also showing the world that students are capable of doing almost anything with the right training and supervision. Stats for Social Media-Powered Vehicles Trending: Older & Chilly
