The Recycled Oil Pendant

By: Cecilia Biemann - Published: Oct 24, 2008 • References: alexandracassaniti & pipeline.refinery29
This inch-long, hand-blown glass pendant contains a few drops of recycled oil. It’s meant to call attention to the world’s complex relationship with oil, a product which is widely viewed as a symbol of greed and corruption, and to make a statement about oil being a non-sustainable resource.

The pendants are capped with a recycled gold or silver seal. This very cool necklace is the result of a collaboration between Unearthern and designer Alexandra Cassaniti. Stats for Crude Awareness Through Jewelry Trending: Older & Mild
