 Snickers Adds Caffiene “Candy is Dandy, But Liquor is Quicker” is the famous saying, but if you’re looking for a buzz there is a new Snickers. Best eaten when frozen - Snickers will now also satisfy another buzz: the caffeine buzz. Snickers Charged has 60mg of caffeine and will be sold as the afternoon hit to keep you awake until five o’clock. The Snicker Charged also backs up the caffeine with 250 calories of sugar.  Demand for a java-esque jolt has spiked in the last few years, Mars said. Sales of caffeinated drinks rose by 55% in 2006.
"Food manufacturers are taking notice," said a company spokesman. "Recent introductions of caffeine-infused products include gum, lip balm, mints, beer and even soap."
