Where as some celebrities might use Snapchat to preview clips of new tracks or release music videos via the Discover feature, this YouTube star is using the social media platform to create clever song covers in a segment dubbed 'Snap Tune.'

Flula Borg is a German DJ based in LA known for his YouTube videos as well as his role in Pitch Perfect 2. DJ Flula recently uploaded a cover of 'My House' by Flo Rida to the video-sharing site, which was created by compiling saved snaps. In the first edition of Snap Tune with Flula, he can be seen playing the trombone, beat-boxing and singing while also showcasing a number of Snapchat filters.

The short Snapchat music video illustrates inventive uses of the typically disappearing video snaps and would have given his followers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the cover.
