Anything grilled could be described as smoky, but this burger in particular is a multi-layered masterpiece that incorporates the smoked flavors of chipotle chiles, adobo, smoked paprika and bacon. Not only that, the triple threat burger is topped with seared avocado, which takes this hardy sandwich to the next level.
The recipe calls for half a cup of mayonnaise, one and a half tablespoons of Dijon mustard, two tablespoons of minced chipotle in adobo, eight bacon slices, two teaspoons of sweet smoked paprika, a red onion, an avocado, olive oil, four hamburger buns and one and a half pounds of non-lean ground beef.
