Smith Optics is releasing reissues of its greatest hits. In 1965, Robert Smith changed the ski goggle game forever when he invented the first double-panel, foam-insulated lens. His new lens protected the inner layer from cold and resulted in a fog-free day on the mountain no matter the temperature changes.

Smith Optics continues to create some of the most high-performing outdoor eyewear on the market today, and now with the launch of the Archive Collection, we can relive these historical moments, yet again. The company pays homage to some of its most iconic shades from the 80s and 90s, which aren't your standard over-the-top neon retro-styled shades.

However there are no changes made to the glasses in regards to materials, colorways and styling. They all feature a subtle label bearing the year the frame launched with the exception of updated Carbonic lenses.
