This smartwatch for the elderly is designed to help them maintain their independence while also offering them protection in a discreet fashion. The Kanega watch from UnaliWear consists of wearable technology that is voice-activated, making it even easier for seniors to use.

The waterproof wrist watch can be worn all hours of the day, and doesn't force the wearer to be at home in order to function. This makes the product stand out among other emergency response systems. The smartwatch for the elderly doesn't need a smartphone to work either, and contains no buttons. Despite its deceivingly discreet appearance, the wearable contains cellular, GPS communications, speech-recognition and wifi technology as well as a fall-detecting 9-axis accelerometer. The wrist band is optimized for night vision and can be synced to a hearing aid too.
