SmartShopper - Voice Recognition Creates Shopping List

Need some help to prepare your shopping list? SmartShopper Electronics, Inc. has developed SmartShopper that prints a list of your favorite shopping items just by pressing a button and say the name of an item you want. It uses Nuance’s state-of-the-art voice recognition technology that converts your said item to an easy read text on the LCD
The SmartShopper comes pre-programmed with 2500 items and you can even add your own unique items and brands to the master library. You can do many other things with your SmartShopper: Enter errands to run, flag items that you have coupons for and even designate quantities. It operates on standard AA batteries, uses thermal paper which doesn’t require ink cartridges or replacement and is quite easy to operate. “It is high tech on the inside and low tech to use,” stated Vice-President and co-founder Greg Vittardi. Mr. Vittardi stated that, "We have had children as young as five and a 93-year-old nursing home patient even using it!"
