In its flagship store in Berlin, Germany, Superdry is now using smart retail mirrors to provide a "reflection" of customers who wish to try on the latest winterwear styles.

When not in use, the smart mirror doubles as a display for the brand's in-store marketing content. When a visitor to the store steps in front of the mirror, it automatically detects their presence. To interact with the touchless smart screen, shoppers use gestures, such as raising their arms, swiping or lifting both arms to "vote up jacket." This last feature gives shoppers a sense of popular styles, as the jacket models are shown with a number and a like heart on the corner of the screen.

An innovation like this has the potential to make something as essential as a changing room in a clothing store completely obsolete.
