Second Life Charity Event - World's Largest Coffee Morning

More Second Life trends? Coffee again? You bet, only this time, they’re combined, and for a cause. Second Life hosted its first “World’s Largest Coffee Morning” today to celebrate the online game’s brand new cancer center. Macmillan Cancer Support, a UK charity is hosting the day long online event that will serve up free coffee for Second Lifers. In addition, they scattered coffee mugs around the virtual world to collect donations from generous gamers. In exchange, they receive a free virtual t-shirt.
Once all the cups have been washed up (or whatever the virtual equivalent is - deleted?), Macmillan's centre will be a venue for people affected by cancer to visit and access a wealth of resources. If you're a Second Lifer, you can zap to the centre by using the SLURL below.
