Instead of checking your missed messages or voicemails after a meeting, you can now check missed videos with the new Skype video voicemail feature. Skype is one of the most widely used instant messaging applications, especially in office environments. The new feature targets those who can't always be at their desks, yet still want to be kept informed.

The feature is simply titled video messaging -- it lets you record a video and send it to a contact. Skype is known for its real-time communication service, yet it is integrating the opposite of real-time to keep up with the recent trend of asynchronous video sharing, like Vine, Snapchat and Glide.

Skype realizes that it's becoming difficult to share moments real-time. This feature will accommodate for those busy lifestyles that can't always be online. Stats for Futuristic Video Voicemail Features Trending: Older & Chilly
