The Skoda Monster Ice Cream Truck is a Deliciously Wacky PR Stunt

The Skoda Monster Ice Cream Truck is quite possibly the world's most badass mobile soft ice cream mobile. That may not be saying much, but it still counts for something. In all seriousness, the Skoda Monster Ice Cream Truck is actually a PR stunt concocted by the Czech automaker to promote the release of its new model, the Octavia vRS.

The massive ice cream truck sports weighs 5.5 tons, stands 21 feet (with tires that are five feet tall) and sports four massive speakers. The Skoda Monster Ice Cream Truck will be cruising the U.K., offering 6,500 free ice creams to curious kids equipped with ladders. While such a publicity stunt may seem a bit extreme, it's in line with what the brand has done in the past; see the Skoda Mega-Man Pram for proof of the automaker's willingness to engage in fun wackiness.
