Singing Sensation’s Meteoric Rise to the Top - Rihanna on Elle’s Cover (GALLERY)

R & B singing sensation Rihanna will grace the cover of Elle Magazine’s June issue. Rihanna is that 20 year old Barbados-born singer who has captured imaginations with her beauty, talent and freshness. The R&B;phenomenon who has only been in “the scene” for 3 years, is shown modeling designer clothes and accessories from Donna Karan, Carolina Herrera, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Armani among others. She also talks about her hair, the success of her song Umbrella, her alcoholic father, her once upon a time rumored relationship with Jay-Z, and her relationship with singer Chris Brown.

I’m only familiar with a couple of songs by Rihanna but it is really amazing how this young woman from the Caribbean has risen to the top in only 3 years. As talented as she is, I expect to hear her name mentioned for a long time. Hopefully nothing along the lines of, “Rihanna has joined Britney and Paris in declaring war on personal underwear” or something like that.
