Electronic Arts Inc. is working to make the popular life-simulating game more inclusive with The Sims 4 update. The game, around now for 16 years, has previously included only two gender options, asking users to choose between either male or female when they create their customized characters.
The Sims 4 update however allows gamers to give their Sims the identity that they choose. This means that consumers are able to customize their characters however they want without pre-determined gender boundaries limiting them. The Sims 4 update is free, giving all gamers the chance to create characters with any physique, voice tone, walk, clothing and hair combination they'd like. With this showcase of diversity, Electronic Arts Inc. makes clear its support in changing gaming culture to be more positive and inclusive.
