Simon Schubert has made his name in the art world with a piece of paper and his hands.

Schubert’s paper art is created by folding the paper to mimic shadows and light. The art sells for roughly $6000.

You can view Schubert’s work here, and through his site. Very cool that folding paper can create such a cool effect.

Implications - The growing progression of computer technology and advancement of digital art has made it easy for even beginners to try their hand at photo manipulation and graphic design. Professional artists have responded by adopting traditional art techniques such as papercraft and letterpress to separate themselves from the rest of the creative pack.
