Movie tributes are plentiful and vary in style and executions. Putting a unique twist on this style of pop culture art, an architect has designed silver screen blue prints of iconic structures from equally iconic films.

Architect Mahruss John Ahi and film professor and critic Arim Karaoglanian worked together to pick pivotal scenes from specific films at drew them as architectural blueprints, including the famous shower scene from Psycho, Walter White’s trailer in Breaking Bad and the elevator scene in Drive. Blueprint posters for Up, Se7en, and 2001: A Space Odyssey also exist.

These Silver Screen Prints are a clever and new way of celebrating movies ads. They provide an incredible exploration of the iconic elements specific to certain films and the moments and places that stick with us for years like the Overlook Hotel or the Bates Motel.
