‘Batsenmeubel’ Spade Bench is a New Use for Garden Tools

Dutch designer Nic Roex’s ‘Spade Bench’ appreciates how an everyday garden shovel remarkably mimics the shape of the human rear end. The cheery vivid green ‘Batsenmeubel’ seating unit was made of the recycled metal digging tools along with bike wheel parts.

Capable of accommodating up to 8 people, the ‘Batsenmeubel’ is part furniture, part sculpture and would be a fun whimsical addition to any park or beach space.
