On some busy streets, one might argue that a bicycle bell is as essential to a cyclist's safety as a helmet, so Shoka is out to prove that it can create an even better alternative to the simple and low-tech cycling accessories that currently exist.

In order to take some of the pressure off of cyclists who are already on high alert, the 'ShokaBell' was developed as a smart bicycle bell. With this device, cyclists are able to get advanced warnings about dangerous crossroads, assistance with navigation and sound different chimes for cars and pedestrians.

Off of the road, ShokaBell users can use the Shoka app to monitor the distances they cycle daily and compare their own stats with friends. By gamifying these rides, the experience of getting from point A to point B becomes even more entertaining.
