Shih-Mao renders digital works that more often than not sexualize traditional images of pop culture. His works are minimalist and straightforward, yet hold a certain complexity which engages the viewers. References to culture are not explicit and invite contemplation from the viewer. One piece depicts a naked women crop circle. Another piece depicts a Little Red Riding Hood-Snow White hybrid which is deeply intrigued by a mushroom that isn't quite a mushroom.

Shih-Mao is based in Taiwan. Not only is his artwork humorous and memorable, it is also masterfully rendered. The artist's understanding of form and color is intricate and dynamic, allowing the simplification of complex ideas.
